Why Migrate

  • The basic architecture of IBM Cognos Enterprise Planning (EP), including the underlying database technology hasn’t fundamentally changed from its first incarnation in the mid 90’s.  The scalability, speed and maintenance  hurdles that often challenge administrators and users, are often overcome by limiting the design to smaller and less granular models, or eliminating certain business requirements or preferences altogether.

IBM Cognos EP Trade-in Promotion

There's simply no better time to migrate from a software licensing perspective.  Effective April 27, 2010, and for a limited time, IBM is offering an Enterprise Planning license trade-in promotion whereby virtually all customers under Enterprise Planning licensing will be granted equivalent Enterprise Planning TM1 Contributor rights when they purchase an IBM Cognos Analytic Server and at least one TM1 Modeler Role. In addition, customers who are not on the Enterprise Planning licensing can trade up their licenses to the current version of Enterprise Planning licenses if they wish to participate in this expansion. TM1 Migration Benefits
