Carol A. Frasso, Director, Education Services

As a member of the company’s Leadership Team, Carol is responsible for growing and managing all aspects of DataClarity’s Education Services organization. She also serves in a management capacity over the company’s strategic partnerships.

Carol has over 20 years’ experience in the field of information technology and consulting services with the past 8 years concentrated in sales, services and education related to Business Analytics and Performance Management. Carol began her career with Electronic Data Systems where she completed the Systems Engineering Development program and spent 10 years in various technical delivery roles designing, developing and supporting enterprise level systems on a variety of mainframe applications. In 1994, Carol was employed by Computer Aid, Inc. (CAI) and served as Process Team Leader responsible for a large onsite support team at one of CAI’s largest Managed Maintenance customers in the northeast. From this pivotal leadership role, Carol was promoted through various positions including Practice Consultant where she provided technical, process and management support to accounts in the region; Service Delivery Leader where she had responsibility for more than 50 consultants as well as their associated client Service Level Agreements; Client Executive where she was responsible for account growth, contract negotiations and renewals; and finally to Account Manager for a start-up branch office in North Carolina.

Carol holds a B.S. in Business Information with a minor in Accounting from Robert Morris University.

Dragos P. Georgescu, Principal, Director of Research and Development

As a member of the company’s Senior Leadership Team, Dragos provides technical leadership, and oversees and manages all aspects of DataClarity’s research and development.

Dragos has more than a decade of research and development experience, with the majority concentrated in the areas of business analytics, performance management, and data integration. He leads and manages DataClarity’s research and development teams, and is responsible for developing and executing strategy and plans to build innovative next-generation market-leading products. Prior to joining DataClarity, Dragos held numerous senior and principal-level consulting and development positions. Beginning with 2004, he was employed by IBM Global Business Services where he was involved in many enterprise projects in all phases of development from presales through knowledge transfer and mentoring.

Dragos holds a B.S. in Information Technology & Economics from Bucharest University of Economics, and a M.S. in Information Technology. In addition, he holds numerous certifications in the metadata and OLAP modeling, advanced and multidimensional reporting, and ETL development areas.

Eliza N. Georgescu, Director of Marketing and Demand Generation

As a member of the company’s management team, Eliza provides leadership over corporate marketing and is responsible for all marketing programs, demand generation, brand awareness, product marketing, competitive intelligence, and sales operations and enablement.

In this capacity, Eliza is contributing to DataClarity’s growth by aligning marketing initiatives to the company strategy. She is involved in developing marketing plans and go-to-market programs, as well as managing marketing teams and overseeing the execution of plans and activities to ensure achievement of company goals. She began her career as legal advisor in a law firm representing and advising private companies in the areas of bankruptcy, debt recovery, mergers and acquisitions, general business planning, and business incorporation. Eliza also served as an R&D Expert for the Romanian National Institute of Statistics where she worked directly with the European Commission of Statistics, being responsible for the harmonization of the national statistical methodology with the international standards. In 2011, she joined DataClarity, and has been instrumental in building DataClarity’s marketing pillars. In 2013, she was awarded IBM’s Marketing Idol Award, which recognizes top performers in the field of marketing IBM products.

Eliza’s holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the University of Bucharest and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from the National School of Political Science and Public Administration.

John M. Greaves, Principal Data Scientist, Director of Advanced Analytics

John anchors DataClarity’s Advanced Analytics professional consulting practice and provides technical leadership to product development in Advanced Analytics.

John has over sixteen years of experience leading advanced analytical engagements in telecommunications, health care, education, financial services, marketing and retail. Prior to joining DataClarity, John provided senior level analytic leadership in major consulting and analytic product development projects, applying Advanced Analytical expertise in the areas of predictive analytics (propensity modelling), offer optimization, consumer segmentation, association models (market basket), data reduction, forecasting and production scoring. John has also lead business and strategy consulting projects in the areas of marketing, operations research, consumer research, competitive analysis and corporate strategy.

John earned an MBA with advanced course work in quantitative methods at the Marriott School of Management, and a BA in Economics from the University of Utah.

Mark W. Mueller, Managing Partner

As a Co-founder and Managing Partner, Mark provides leadership and day-to-day management of DataClarity including a specific focus on sponsorship and support of client engagements, business development, strategic partnerships, talent management, finance and operations.

Mark has been a startup entrepreneur since founding his first company in 1977. Since then, he has gained an extensive entrepreneurial background in birthing, building and managing several information technology companies and start-up ventures. He began his career as an engineer and programmer, and was employed by numerous companies including Data Design, Simmonds Precision (NYSE: GR) and Intertec Data Systems where he was instrumental in the development of the first microprocessor-based network-capable desktop computer. In 1984, Mark was recruited by The Industrial Computer Products Division of Arrow Electronics (NYSE: ARW), where he held numerous technical sales and marketing positions that contributed substantially to the success of the company’s computer products division. In 1986, he founded Monolith Corporation, and as the top executive, built the self-funded startup into one of the most successful companies in the multi-dimensional database market. Through Monolith, Mark acquired Integrated Dealer Systems and R.V. Soft in 1995, and rapidly grew the combined entities into the market leading independent software vendor (ISV) in its dealership market segment. In 1999, he co-founded the Business Intelligence Division of Monolith Corporation, which was acquired and spun out as DataClarity Corporation in October, 2002 after selling Monolith to Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC).

Mark graduated from The Ohio Institute of Technology, with a major in Electronics Engineering, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree.

Reginald J. Harper, Sr., Principal, BI Practice & Chief Data Architect

As a Co-founder, Principal and Chief Data Architect, Reggie provides senior technical leadership to DataClarity’s Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing practices, which encompass performance management, reporting, analysis, balanced scorecarding and complete data warehouse solutions.

Reggie has over fifteen years experience in the field of Information Technology with the past 11 years concentrating in the Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence areas. Prior to co-founding DataClarity Corporation, Reggie was employed by Monolith Corporation where he was instrumental in the BI Division's success and growth. During his tenure at Monolith, Reggie was promoted from a Senior to a Principal Consultant over the course of a year, during which time he was responsible for leading the company's largest data warehousing project. Prior to joining Monolith, Reggie was employed by Idea Integration, a Modis (NYSE: MPS) subsidiary, where he held several senior-level consulting positions in data warehousing and business intelligence. While at Idea Integration, Reggie was the primary consultant driving multiple Fortune 1000 companies' efforts to successfully design and build their data warehouses and data marts.

Reggie received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Cheyney University and a Masters of Science in Software Engineering degree from Penn State University. Since then, Reggie has continued his education completing various courses in Data Warehousing, Database Design and Modeling, Data Mining, and Business Intelligence, including several courses taken at Kimball University, with the renowned "Father of Data Warehousing," Dr. Ralph Kimball himself.

Russell A. Pennington, Director of Financial Performance Management

Rusty has been a member of the Senior Leadership Team since 2009 and provides leadership to DataClarity’s Financial Performance Management practice covering the complete customer cycle from software sales to client services delivery.

Rusty has been involved in a multitude of projects, increasing the efficiency for the Office of Finance relative to financial reporting and financial planning for enterprise and mid-market customers alike. Prior to joining DataClarity, Rusty founded CS2 Group as a Cognos and Applix partner focusing on delivering performance management consulting services. Rusty has over 20 years of progressive experience in the Finance and Accounting field, holding consecutive industry positions as Controller, Vice President of Planning and Analysis and Senior Vice President of Finance. Rusty has the unique experience of actually having implemented and utilized many of the IBM Cognos Office of Finance tools as the cornerstone of the company’s CPM needs.

Mr. Pennington has a bachelor's degree in Business majoring in accounting from Auburn University at Montgomery.

Sherri Schaffroth, Director of Sales

As a member of the company’s Leadership Team, Sherri focuses on business development and managing DataClarity’s sales organization.

Sherri comes to DataClarity with more than 15 years of software and services sales experience. She has held Sr. Level Direct Sales roles at SAS, IBM and Oracle. Prior to her time at IBM, Sherri spent 8 years at SAS, including an international stint in Melbourne Australia. She is credited with exceeding sales goals year over year and earning such honours as Elite Club Award Winner, Advanced Advisory Sales Program Winner, US Commercial Sales Innovation Award Winner, 100% Club and other notable performance related accolades throughout her career. Sherri has helped enable various organizations to achieve business excellence via her strong business acumen and ability to demonstrate an understanding of the business strategies and needs of customers. Sherri enjoys helping organizations of all sizes thrive by enabling them to discover new ways to strategize, plan, optimize business operations, and capture new market opportunities.

Sherri graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was an NCAA Division One Champion. She also earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Marymount University.

Steven M. Johnson, Senior Partner, Vice President

As a Co-founder and Partner, Steve provides leadership and day-to-day management of DataClarity including a specific focus on client success, strategy and solution delivery, business development, talent management, operations and information systems.

Steve has over thirty years experience in the field of Information Technology. Prior to co-founding DataClarity Corporation, Steve was employed by Monolith Corporation where he co-founded and was instrumental in starting up, building and managing the BI Division. During his tenure at Monolith, Steve served in several director-level management capacities including Director of Engineering, Director of Services and most recently Director of Business Intelligence Services. Prior to joining Monolith, Steve was employed by Memorex Telex where he held several senior-level engineering and management positions in information technology quality. While at Memorex Telex, Steve’s primary focus was Product Assurance of Enterprise Solutions and the development and delivery of the Quality Information System.

Steve graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan College, receiving his B.S. in Computer Information Systems. Since then, Steve has continued his education completing specialized training in Project Management and Total Quality Management. During his career, Steve has been awarded several management and technical certifications including American Society for Quality Certified Quality Engineer, American Society for Quality Certified Quality Auditor, COMPTIA Server Specialist, COMPTIA Networking Specialist, and COMPTIA Internet Specialist.
